Thread: Which should I be Commando or Bounty Hunter
I was reading an interesting post about this topic in the Bounty Hunter forums, and I was wondering what you guys thought.
I primarily PVE preferrably solo.

Well, I can't really say because I've only known the commando side. but, I'll try my best. after the next patch it may be much easier to solo PvE for commandos without the use of pets, because they are removing the 2.5 melee damage multiplier. I can "solo" PvE right now with my pets (2/2/1/1 in CH), (I'm working the remaining 450k heavy weaponxp I need for Acid Rifle 4), then it'sonly a matter of getting the remaing the Combatxp then...

I am both a commando and a bh at the moment. As of this time, the commando profession is much more powerful, and has higher melee and ranged defense bonuses. It also costs much less skill points to get to commando, so i suggest going with that profession.
If you're a master BH, or at least 0/0/4/4 you can do pretty well in PVE with the LLC. (we're just acronym crazy around here)
You'll also have nice pistol speed mods. But unless you dabbled in Pistoleer to get stopping shot
you're not going to really have the same OOMPH with pistols as a Commando would with a Flamer.
From what I've seen, commando makes a better PVE player than BH.
