Thread: Some advice needed badly
Please could someone tell me how i can best grind out this stupid Unarmed xp - im finding progress incredibly slow..
ive mastered marksman already - and have limited medic skills- no CH skills
Please help - its driving me insane with boredom - its putting me off the game

Well, there area couple of ways to do it. First off, definitely get a pair of Vibroknucklers and get them sliced (you are only looking for a speed slice here). After that, I just spent a couple of days killing pretty much everything I could, of course, that was before decay, which was nice.
There is an alternate method, which a lot of people would frown upon, but it's an option, so I'll let you know about it. Check out the Teras Kasi boards, go to the FAQ there and in the FAQ is a macro for earning unarmed exp. I would only ask that if you use the macro, do so near an unpopulated city. Nothing is more frustrating than being a noob and not having anything to kill because you have 10 MCH and 5 Brawlers in the noob area macro killing everything in sight.
Get speed sliced vibroknucklers and a good kinetic protecting armor. Get some stimpacks, then go out and kill anything. For box 1-3you can hunt outside the cities, but for box 4 you need some tougher animals. Scyks and Giant worrts on Tatooine gives 700 XP (when you group with a pet)... doable and good XP. Cu Pas works too, 440 XP but much easier.
Using this tactic you can get Unarmed IV on 2-3 days.
Unarmed without VK's : you do like 70 damage per swing. You swing once every 4 seconds
Unarmed with VKs (not certified): you do 60 damage per swing. You swing once every 2 seconds (or 1.5 if you get a good vk sliced for speed).
So yes, VK's, even if you not certified, will increase your damage.
How to get unarmed 4 faster? Several ways:
Get novice pistoleer (which if you going commando is something that will help you loads getting the first box of flamethrower).
With nov. pistoleer, go to any planet, find 2k to 3k ham creatures. Naboo peko peko's are nice for this. Open fight with healthshot1, then healthshot2, then switch to VK's. Its VERY important you dont hit the peko peko with a pistol shot after you hit it with the bleeds.
punch peko peko until it dies (yes, you need to have armor, get 50% ubese full suit). You can get 4k unarmed this way quick per kill.
Way 2 is to go to dathomir and team up with a group thats hunting for xp. These guys are hard to find, but when you do find them, tell them you will go with them and to let you kill the nest. These guys will kill off the kamurith's/baz and let you kill the empty nest. 4k xp per nest, and these guys kill nests FAST.
Way3 is the afk macro suggested in the TKA boards.
Personally, unarmed4 AND novice tkasi is the WORST grind ive ever done. It was even worse than crafter grinding. Nothing sucks more than killing something that cons yellow and get 200 xp .and you need 70k to fill box. Or even worse novice tka you need 125k xp
i got my tkasi...and im never dropping it. ever.
