Ack, wellthe name change came in while I was unable to post; sorry was at grandparents and internet access is limited. Okay now I'm home and the work begins. I'm going to be gathering all the old info into groups on my PC and save them, but also I'm going to looking at the TC changes VERY closely, and see what might be fixed, and what's not.

I'm working on the State of the Commando address as we speak *while food is being delivered * and getting together everything that needs to be heard. Also I want to make another top 5 issues post. I know we have already done this, and it's a pain for everyone, but this gives the developers a this is what's happening RIGHT NOW; and I'll post more there on how we might be able to organize it, so we can go straight down the list, and knock items off one at a time if necessary. *One thing is still better than nothing happening; if we really have to push for something while they are busy*

I plan on working closely with you all; and I am here to be the Commando voice. Every Commando's concern is now my concern, and it always has been. I haven't voiced much on these forums, because everyone pretty much voices it before I can really add anything, you find what is needed and say it right away. Keep the juices flowing guys: I'll be posting very soon. If I do happen to forget something just add it to the post, I have no qualms about it, so let's get cracking *Okay me the most hehe *

Good luck man. I've known both of your predecessors and even got to work with MasterSynn. You've got a lot of work ahead of you, so you are warned, but as an old school Commando (that's right, when LPs gave pistol xp :smileytongue I'd be happy to help any way I can. I've even got a character on TC I'm priming for Commando, so I can help you there too, if you need it.

'Foolish boy. Don't you know anything about Fantasia? It's the world of human fantasy. Every part, every creature of it, is a piece of the dreams and hopes of mankind. Therefor, it has no boundaries.'
'But why is Fantasia dying then?'
'Because people have begun to loose their hopes and forget their dreams. So the nothing grows stronger. It's the emptiness that's left. It's like a despair, destroying this world. And I have been trying to help it.'
'But why?'
'Because people who have no hopes are easy to control. And whoever has control has the power'

Thanks for the welcome so far all; and I KNEW they gave Pistol XP. So I wasn't mistaking when I asked my PA about it hehe. Oh my TC name is also Grakees just to make it easy

Finishing up my State of the Profession right now; on Grenades. It's not going to be full at the start, that's what all of you Commando's are for.... I want the brunt of the info to come from everyone. Not just my ideas and what I have read. *Can't read everything*

Also I sent a PM to TH *don't you love the acronmys? lol* about doing a new Top 5. I wanted to start fresh and make it up to the hour if possible. I know it would be a pain in the butt, but this way I can tells the Dev's, this is where we stand now. I would also ask you to rank the issues. #1 fix immediatly, 2 try to get that in too 3-5 push for them, but I understand if it can't be right away type of issue.

This way we can get the top priorities knocked out of the way; and start adding content. Oh and I don't count the HAR againt the #1 spot. That's a bug somewhere in there; and should automatically count.

well, what to say?

Congrats! May your persistence last longer than that of your forebears.

May your esteem be rewarded by action.

May your kindness be weighted in gold and your efforst weighted in results.

You got all my best wishes, but i cannot think of a position more troublesome than that of the commando correspondent (well, maybe aside from Droid Engineer).

As always, i will stay with the commando cause. Should you have any questions on Damage spread, combat efficientcy, class comparisons, combat logs, bug reports.... just gimme a call.

Just want to say that I remember some of LordSeckmoth's posts on the old developer's board, before beta started. One thing that particularly stood out is how enthusiastic (sp?) he was about this game. I think the developers made a great choice for correspondent here.

Oops how'd that get in my Macro. Thanks SirVimes; yeah I was pre-beta, and very into SWG. I must have been on the forums 3+ years now, well whenever they started them. *sighs contentedly* The good ol' days, when the planets were going to be zoned for PvP and the Outcast system still existed lol . So who actually remembers that one?

Well you have my congratulations and best wishes. I, like our compatriates, wish you good luck and God speed in your efforts to effectively communicate the needs and concerns of this the most excellent profession in all of SWG.

My only piece of advice: Please do not set your expectations too high nor too low. Please endeavor to be realistic, balanced, but doggedly COMMANDO.

You have my thanks in advance and wish you good luck.

Unfortunately, passion leads to extreme frustration when things don't get done. A lot of correspondents who have quit so far are ones that I dare say cared too much.

Welcome aboard, LordSeckmoth. I suggest hanging a pillow on the wall next to your computer to soften the blow as you ram your head in to it.
