Thread: How can i grind w/o a gun?

Ok I was novice commando, lvl 17 or sumthin around there....but i couldnt use a heavy weapon b/c i was either under the level or wasnt qualified for it i eventually solved this problem by grinding rifleman...but thats not the point! ne1 else have ths problem..

i didnt know that was possible , if that is so , wouldent the launcher pistol have to be redcuded in CL some more? , i was already master carbines when going commando , but i really cant see that happening :/

The Launcher Pistol is CL 14/Novice Commando...it takes Heavy Weapon mods, despite being under the "pistol" catagory - technically the majority of our weapons are under non-Heavy Weapon catagories too.
For those who are grinding into the profession at a higher CL, there is a loot item called the Corellian Destroyer that is CL 30 / Novice Commando

kewl anyone know where it drops or what sort of things its on.. i might need ti or us it but i wouldnt mind haven it on my wall.

It looks like a heavy lightning cannon,but has no aoe and does CL 30 damage - great for grinding when aoe is undesirable.
