1- do state shots, for example, stopping shot (Pistoleer) work with commando weapons to give an AOE Root ?
2- I am going MSL. was thinking of MCommando to go with it. Would this be a good choice. Would probably put 4xxx BH with it or 4xxx rifleman

1. Yep, sure do! Pretty nice to AoE root an angry mob 
2. I'm currently a Master Commando/ Master Squad Leader / 0004 Pistoleer, and it's... not good. Your most powerful attack is the Novice Pistoleer's Body Shot. Now, you'll have fun and support your friends, but it is not a solo template.
