Thread: Need some info on Commando
1. "Do Commandos get left out of things because of their aggroing ways?" I heard commandos usually aren't welcome on Necrosis runs or DWB runs because of their area weapons thats attract a lot of aggro.
My second and final question relates to the aggro Commandos gain.
2. "Since Commando weapons have an area effect and aggro a lot how do Commando/Ranged survive in general Dant hunting groups?" If I am to become commando chances are I will become Commando/Doc and FS Ranged Speed & Accuracy but can non-healer/commando templates function without dying.
Commando/Doc really limits your profession, as we relay on other professions for our specials/damage at this point.
To number 1: Yes/No-If you will be using a non-AOE weapon(only have a few), then you will sometimes be allowed.
To number 2: Yes/No- Really depends on how much aggro you'll be doing and the weapon your using. The novice lvl LP is an AOE weapon and makes the first box a real pain to get. Then grab Incenderary 1 and get your hands on a Rocket Launcher if you can find one(hard to craft they are). It'll help some. Once you hit Master though, its easy as the AOE/Spin groups loving having a AOE profession in their midsts.
1) Havent experienced this but my friends dont really mind. Ifu can get a non aoe weapon,a new proton rifle is the best bet.
2)Contrary to the second poster i would get the first acid weapons 1 cuz the Heavy Acid Rifle is single target weapon.
