/21 flame salute
Its more of, when was the last time a Developer has followed through with their feedback to the community, and got us working (*cough* never *cough*, even the idea that "blast damage was our niche" failed).
As long as theres a game, there will be a Starnick...I've been a commando for 25 months now, never going to drop it because I still have too much damn fun being the crazy pyro...

Wish i could say that. I really have fun being the bbq master, but getting to the point of driving me out of the profession. When i can outdamage a fellow commando being 4/0/0/4 in pistoleer, doing AE's something is terribly broken. A pistol doing more damage than a rocket launcher COMMON!! We who are keeping some hope, and rocket launchers held high will salute you as another fallen.

Hate to see a fellow commando turn away, but I know where you are coming from. My thing is, I am like StarNick, I've been a commando for, not as long as he has, but long enough to know that I love the profession. Hell, even if I unlock jedi, I am doing a hybrid jedi using...COMMANDO. Well, if I can pull it off.
Farewell fellow pyro, may you never run out of fuel.

Well this game (I should say the community) has been a blast! But after one horrible implementation after the other Ive finally done it.. cancelled all accounts and uninstalled the game. From what I hear from ingame friends Im not going to be the first with this foolish xp patch they cooked up.. (Thought the CU was all about encouraging grouping?) Will be hard for low levels to get into a level 80 group now.. but I guess that is working as intended as the good Tiggs loves to state..
Il salute you Starnick one final time, for being a solid and true correspondant. You make a good head for the Commandos out there, tobad the developers of this nightmare choose to ignore you and all of the gamers in here.. Ive come to realize that Commando is just one of the many careers that never got done before the hasted CU was placed ingame (to get implemented before the movie.. inorder for new customers to meet a new game system at once..)
This game needs developers who will listen to their player base... their customers... the people who make this game come to life! The weather beaten Commando that against all odds cling to his career when all ingame testing tells him to get some retarded Master Combat Medic template.. But many of these old vets are leaving now.. and the more of the old community who leaves the more the community fades.
This game has become some sort of Disney land online... the once advanced game that was SWG is long gone.... Jedi roam the street like some crazed breeding program gone bad.. 30 min fights between some players.. heal heal heal... yeah way the go C.U, dunamic PvP.. hehe.. yes sure..
I cannot honestly say Ive seen a worse management of a gameing community then from the SOE team..... tell me the last time a Developer even bothered to answer us on these forums? Mismanaged and lied to.. that is what we are..
Im hoping for the sake of this game that the entire XP nerf is just a badly implemented patch, and that it will be fixed. Otherwise I fear more of the game will crumble.. But me atleast Ive had it.
Im sure the GCWers of Radiant will be happy to see this grumpy old Rebel Commando go into the good night, we have had a fun GCW until the afk faction grinding started there... have fun.. I hope that the game survives though.. many people have invested alot of time on this... :/

Adios, amigos!
I've had fun with the game, but it's become little more than dreary repetition due to problems that we veterans have been harping about since JtL launched. There's no point to playing a game that's lost its fun factor. Happy hunting to you all and may your experience be bug (and CSR) free as possible.
(Psst! The Emperor has no clothes!)
