Hey folks, just a small PSA:
If you notice, there have been some Correspondent positions have opened due to the 6 month term limits being re-implemented. I'm pretty sure I'll be on that list soon enough, since I was one of the Valentine Corro's (nearly 8 months ago).
Just wanted to make that everything is clear to you all and if in the next few weeks you suddenly find a "Player Correspondent Opening: Commando" thread by Tiggs stickied to the top, no one will freak out.
If/when that happens, I'll be re-applying for the position. So if they're willing to have me still, I won't be going anywhere. I have been thinking about retirement quite a bit, and there have been a few times when I was dangerously close to it due to frustration....but I'm going to stick with it as long as it'll take to get us some much needed love.

Well that explains a fair bit actually about what the hell happend to several other coros of various professions my toons hold (AS for example) Though notably in a few cases they did -not- reapply. And frankly. I dont blame them.
You've done a great job so far star. And I'm sure we'd all be glad to have you again should SOE be wise enough to allow you to continue.

Somewhat...BH/Carbineer/Architect are the first three on the list of many for term limits. Caile and Calc left because they were not happy with the program, plus with Caile school was a concern. The three newest openings are a result of the term limits being reinstituted.
If they won't let you re-apply, I sure hope they let you stay in long enough to see the fixes you've lobbied so hard for implemented in game.
They will, but they'll be taking in other applications too. I'm not the only one who's interested in staying on once the position gets into rotation...
If I don't, as with any Blue Glowie status I'll still have access for a limited amount of time to help out the new correspondent. By no means does SOE just throw you in without the older fmr correspondent to lean on a bit and ask advice from
And...thanks guys

You've done an awesome job, not just keeping after the devs for fixes, but keeping us from getting completely discouraged in the process StarNick. If they won't let you re-apply, I sure hope they let you stay in long enough to see the fixes you've lobbied so hard for implemented in game.

Folks, whatever despair, doubt, or anxiety I felt that could have brought me close to quitting the correspondency, is all but wiped away.
Today...I am truely happy.

You cant really be "truely" happy yet, your work hasn't paid off yet.
