Thread: Going Commando/Rifleman/Shipwright, help

Ok, so I was looking into the Commando tree, and it looks like it might be fun, despite dissapointing damage. I'm also going to be a shipwright, so I can't pour all my points into a second combat prof, only a few - so I chose Rifleman. So I have two questions:


1. What trees should I take in rifleman?

2. Assuming I only have the bare minimum requirements for everything, what combat level should I be able to achieve?


(on a side note, what is the CL of a Novice Commando 0/0/0/0 with only the minimum prerequirements, IE 4/0/0/0 brawler and 0/0/0/4 Marksman?)



The reason that only astromech droids should be able to enhance ships... Think of a protocol droid:
"Oh, we're doomed!"
"I can't say how much I hate space travel!"
"The odds of surviving a direct assault on an Imperial Star Destroyer..."
"This is all your fault!"
"But sir!"

Anyone else? I realise I won't be uber powerful - if I needed to be, I wouldn't have shipwright (which is both for the I-can-do-it-myself feel, and for not having to pay stupidly hugeamounts of cash for things), but I'm sure that some trees in Rifleman are of more use then others.

You should at least get 4000 in rifles. This will increase the accuracy of your weapons and gives you the improved head shot special. I would recommend going 0404 in pistoleer. this will add to the accuracy of your weapons, add to your defence, and gives some specials.

I hope you have5 million resources stocked up because thats about how much it takes to get to master.

2.253m Steel, 581k Aluminum, 1.146m Ore, 581k Inert Petro, 539k Iron, 539k Fiberplast (in practice mode)


Also another 7k per master level components.

130k per master ship.


Have fun with that.

If you take Master Shipwright andMaster Commando, you'll only have enough skill points left over for one full tree in Rifles (I would suggest 4.0.0.0). You'll have 3 skill points left over for FS or some other Artisan skills.


You should be Combat Level 60 with this template.
