Ok, I stumbled upon this thread while reading up on pikeman specials and such.

It lists all status effect inducing special, sorted by prof.

I found one thing very strange when comparing commando and carbineer. According to the CU doc, carbineer is a 4 in crowd controll and commando only a 1. What was in the devs mind when they handed out the status inducing specials. And as always, remember that the devs have stated that our weapons are our specials .

Yeah its perplexing...but right now it seems as if we're half in and half out between a damage dealer role and "support" role, which having those state effects would make sense.

I honestly feel a step in the direction of our old ways, and the ways of the CU (good vs turrets/tanks/etc, damage dealer, but also the much needed flexibility we wanted) is the way to go. F
