Has anybody had success using heavy weapons in the cave? Or is it like the rancor cave on Dath where the heavy weapons don't function. By heavy weapon I mean rockets, Heavy Acid launcher....etc

I did you have to have them in your main pack. I used many a RL on the dam KWI they hurt like hell (i mean the kwi) THe Rl did ok not great. So yes in short they work

I was in the geo caves last night and tried out the hpbc and it too worked 
it missed
but at least you can fire them........
/think thank for for tame weaponsmith otherwise it would of been a d a mn expensive night out

I hear alot about it and that there is good loot there, first where on Yarvin is it and what good loot can you find there?

It is located near the SW corner of Yavin 4...and you can loot Geonosian items like colored Cubes, schems, Acklay bones and venom, etc...but you can also loot some death if you are not a Master in an Elite prof with melee defense.
This place is also heavily camped by players who want the loot too, so as an honest player looking for game content, you may be a little let down with what you will find.
