While im not a comando( i have been breifly but never stick with it) i still read almost every forum and just wanted to say /cheer Garvin. Out of every proffesion i read(which is most) he provided the most active and detailed information and always seemed to be working hard to help you guys get love.
Not only will comandoes miss him but the entire SWG world should give him a /patontheback.

We need to elect representatives to pat him on the back, if we all do...there would be far too many patting him on the back...thus launching him to Mars due to the momentum of the pats.

Exactly...I'm not going anywhere...I'll likely become a quick pest to whomever takes on the new Correspondent role...
I'm not stepping down because of anything I don't like or any type of disagreement...I'm just stepping down to give someone else a chance to be a Correspondent of this great community...like I said, some day down the road I hope to return to being a Correspondent for Commandos...but that's way down the road...
I'm also stepping down for a "strategic reason"...think about it...We get 5 sandbox testers plus one Correspondent...Blue Glowies (past Correspondents) are automatically giving access to the Sandbox when it starts Alpha testing and don't count in the 5...We already have LordS as a Commando Blue Glowie...by me stepping down, I become a Blue Glowie and we get a new person into our Alpha Testing Team...YAY! If one of our Sandbox testers becomes the Correspondent, then they'll choose a new Tester...if someone not on the Team becomes Correspondent, then they'll be the new person on the Sandbox team...either way I see us winning with more testers...It may seem like I'm making some type of sacrifice, but really, Blue Glowies still keep access to all the same forums...I can still contact the Devs directly...and I can still help testing things on TC...I just won't be the leader of this Community (which I never really felt I was...I always felt more like a partner for this community who spoke on BEHALF of Commandos)...

Gee thanks...thats an incentive to all of the candidates
Last night while thinking about Mandalorian, the samethought passed mymind...but, what if we do a conspiracy thing and have a few ppl selected as correspondent who all subsequently quit, thus adding more testers? We may all get banned...but its, worth a shot.... hehehehe
