well i think he wants to mess around with the launcher pistol. This looks like a PvE template that allows him to hunt jedi and do some PvP.
He has flame IV for the DoTs, and everything else essentially so he can work a launcher pistol.
The main reason i think this is based on PvE is the fact that he has novice medic, for stim Bs

Alright with that being said my suggestion is to drop the pistoleer, and the pistol line of bh and pick up some defenses, or drop the medic as well and master a melee profession since ranged profs aren't all that effective against jedi, then just kd dizzy the jedi and flame the s**t out of it.

well i kinda do want to be able to hunt and flame Jedi, which is why i want the BH part, also i think that both commado and pistoleer will get some good bonuses when the CU hits which is why i want it. i decided on this template
Master Marksman
Scout 4000
Brawler 4000
Master Pistoleer
Commando 0040
Bounty Hunter 3040
i figure that i will not be hunting alone, or hard targets, and that this will give me a good PvE template, as long as i dont hunt alone
thanx for the imput guys.

While I love seeing new commandos in the community, you can already flame people using torso shot. In a jedi battle, the time to switch weapons can be costly, so it could end up working against you. You may consider, since you are emphasizing pistol so much:
Master Pistoleer
Smuggler 0-0-4-0
Bounty Hunter 3-0-4-0
This will basically max out your ability with the pistol.

i also like how a rocket launcher can miss a durni
How a CM can hit a movingTarget perfectly far away
while we cant get an exploding object to hit a F***ing durni 2 feet from me

I had a template using master pistoleer and commando flame thrower 4 for some time (3 or 4 months I think), and it was fun, though a touch weak. With the point reduction to BH however, there is some promise of a fun PVE template, to be sure.
Some suggestions-
With
Commando 0/0/4/0
-and-
Bounty Hunter 3/0/4/0
as a starting point, you need only Pistoleer x/x/x/2 to hit 97 speed. The extra melee defense is meaningless currently. Low level mobs will fry in one shot of that flamer, and high end mobs will ignore even a master pistoleer's defenses completely. Best to save those 5 points up for something else.
I would suggest pistoleer 0/0/4/2 for best effect.
If you are serious about using that launcher pistol, and have any dreams at all of taking out base defenses, smuggler dirty fighting 4 is IMHOthe only way to fly. Ever seen what a speed capped last ditch does to a condition bar on something without blast resists? Similarly, last ditch can tear players up when used at cap. You could alsoprove quite valuable in PVP firing that attack off with a nice Krayted scatter pistol for sure. Ignore those anti decayed psg's completely, and bask in the 7x damage mod and stun effect. Low blow is also mighty nice, even if panic shot has lost some of it's luster. Panic shot, btw, can still buy you time to switch weapons while someone is delayed (or better yet,KD and delayed which can lead to nice FT attack openings). Just be sure to put it on a /panicShot; /peace; /peace macro so as not to break the delay.
This still leaves 14 points to toss around. You could grab dodge, or, you could gain absurd accuracy with the pistol, try slicing as a money maker, or grab another line of commando.
Just some random thoughts. I'm sure this'll all be moot once the CU comes about anyway. With any luck, commando won't need BH, or anything else to make it useful, and we can (hopefully) look forward to a class with 4 useful skill trees, instead of the one trick pony Commando feels like now.
