Thread: Commando! -Post your random rant on the CU

Well as many of you konw there is a little thing called the CU 
and of course we are all Waiting for it day by day, week by week..
But The real question is What weapons are we getting ? are the Tapes going to work again..
Will Master commando be worth the Title we all hope it will be.. I for one am SURE commando will be Respected once again.
I know we cant have all the answers right now, but im willing to Take a gamble and say that are Tapes will work again, and the Acid rifle will wont be A Wall mount anymore. and people will fear us once again!
We have so much to Gain now and realy nothing else more to loose.

as long as they dont nerf any weapons since this is hard profession to master im cool with whatever happens

hmmm I think I've ranted enough though it is very tempting. Instead just a simple question: Where is the post on the CU was delay after being delay regarding details about the delay to which SOE seems to continue to delya even delaying a follow to the post of teh delay and the reason for the delay of the post of the delay.

*Smashes Random Things*
Ha ha Dynomite!
*Presses down on the handle and goes flying far far away*
Some time later. (Probably next year
)
Me- Gives it's to us! We wants CU Information!
*Bites THs fingers*
TH- No back you! I must destroy them to save SWG!
*Screams*
Me - Yes mine! CU Information!
*Dances around reading the papers*
*Battle Droids come after TK-132*
*TK-132 goes Matrix and pulls out a blaster machine gun and dodges BDs and SBDs attacks*
*Jumps on to the wall all slow style spraying BDs with Blaster Bolts as he runs sideways on the walls*
*More SBDs spawn and TK-132 jumps high into the air with a rocket launcher and blows all the walking trash cans sky high.*
*Throws a Thermal Detonator and everything is engulfed in a wave of flame!*
Tyrant- Mister TK-132...
*A very Furiest Fist Fight breaks out between the two*
*TK-132 defeats Tyrant*
Me- Ha ha CU Victory is mine!
Tyrant- Never!
*Pulls out his real RL*
Me- *Surprised Look*
*The rocket hits TK-132 square in the head that sends him flying off a nearby cliff into a molten lava pit.*
*Screams as he falls*
Me- Ha ha ha ha! The precious! Mine!
*TK-132 is melted down by the lava and the CU documents explode causing a giant earthquake*
Mu ha ha ha ha!
Crazy I am yes!

I just want the brawler stuff gone so I can be a squad leader commando. Also, actually using the pistols, carbines and rifles we apprently mastered would be nice too.

The Cu will most likely be called:
Rage of the Commando, $24.95 Expansion that has more glitches and failed weapons just for the Commando.
Almost like we are the Red headed Step children........

Here's my rant about the CU:
I'm hoping for a day where commandos can finally do what they want to do.
I'm hoping for a day where you can actually stand and fight and actually have a chance of beating back the enemieswith your crew.
I'm hoping for a day where commandos can even have the slightest of chance of winning vs. jedi and CMs and stackers and gankers and all that.
Maybe this day is coming, maybe commandos will shine once more like a firey beacon in the night sky: rockets exploding on the battlefield, grenades bursting, gunshots ringing through the air. Commandos would have the ability to fight, and not have the battle be a forgone conclusion because of jedi and CMs and stackers and gankers and all the rest.
People who choose to fight cleanly and traditionally like commandos would not be cut down instantly by these foes, but would rise up and give them a hell of a fight before going down.
Maybe this day is coming, we'll have to wait and see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for sure, and I hope fellows commandos are doing the same.

Honestly, this morning, our crew got stomped. It was 3v3, and yet still we had no chance. Why? Our crew: Master Swordsman, Master Pistoleer, Master Commando.
Their crew: Combat Medic, Jedi Knight, Teras Kasi Master
Really, it shouldn't be this bad. Within30 seconds of the battle being joined, two of us were dead from mind poison and the other was being cut down by a lightsaber.
And that was WITH the element of surprise.
We had a rematch later (no jedi this time,) and they still won, albeit from poison once more. I'm not saying they were unfair, but hot damn, you think we wouldn't go down this easy. It ain't equipment, and our tactics were okay: there's something wrong here.
How can three guys, fully tanked up and ready to rock, be taken down by little globs of poison when they're shooting the enemies with liquid flame and a hail of sonic shots and a huge ass executioner's axe?
I dunno, maybe I'm irrational, maybe I'm crazy. All I know is that good men who do the best they can are being defeated almost instantaneously by men who are apparently of equal stature.
I guess all I want is a nice battle, one that actually hasn't been decided before it starts.

Okay that's my crazy rant for today. Good thing our crew RPs with another crew who has the same ideals, so we don't get stomped this hardcore all the time.Looking forward to the CU!

Commando is hard to master? Hmm, I mastered it in about 12 hours. It was one of the easiest elite professions I have ever done. Even TKM took more time.
