Thread: Time to cause hell????? (plz read all vet commandos) and you starnick!
We should give the Bria forum zerg fireworks, then tell them it's a protest against PvE in the GCW, and that it requires them to fire off all the fireworks in one big boom outside the SOE HQ.
Then all we need, is a big banner that 1 or 2 commandos bring, that says:
"Mess with Commando, and things blow up!"
I can dream can't I?

In a word, no.
At the moment, most of the professions feel like they have serious issues. All professions feel they have at least some issues. With that being said, I think the only thing staging large scale protests could possibly do, would be to stick us on the back burner- indefinately. Some might argue we are already there, but it is much better to have some hope this is not the case, rather than do something foolish and ensure we get no fix in the forseeable future. It's frustrating, and it seems fixes have been years in coming, with the answers the same this whole time. "It's being looked into". "Soon". "We are aware of the issue".
These things make me want to tear my hair out too. I just think that so soon after the CU is poor timing to start raising hell. We all know this wasn't tested properly. We all know it was rushed live. We also know they intended we should be very powerful on the offense. We aren't. They know it. I have decided to stick with commando, and I have further decided to place my trust in Starnick and the other correspondants that selflessly volunteer their time and efforts to try and make the game a better experience for all. If it goes on for more than a period of 2 to 3 months without even acknowledging the specifics and laying out problem specific fixes in planning, well... we all do what we must- cancel, riot, drop the profession, or whine... whatever it is, whatever satisfies each of us. I would urge though, if your aim is to help commandos, now is IMHO the worst possible time to stage a protest.
