Hi all

I am new to the game and am trying to become a commado, and i am a little confused when it says i need 42000 combat xp,

I have completed the unarmed iv in brawler, and the ranged support iv in marksman, along with serval other boxes in the skill trees for marksman and brawler,

what do i need to do to get the 42000xp ? and how do i know or where do i look to keep track of how much combat xp i have ?

any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

well, how did you get the 30550 combat xp needed for the ranged support line? 'cause you should just do it that way... i haven't had to grind since the CU hit, so i don't know the best way, so just try what's already worked for you....

If you go to your character skills sheet, one of the side bars shows your exp totals for various skills you have on hand, should be able to see it there.

The best way I've found to aquire it is to work on some sort of other weapon skill in a large hunting party (since combat exp is 1/10 of the experience for whatever weapon you were using) and just blasting away at animals until you get what you need. With double exp until Tuesday, now wouldn't be a bad time to do so, if you get the chance. Otherwise, it'll take tad longer. You could also try using C-12's, but that'll probably make your group hate you due to its rather large range.

I found that the grenade thing isn't working as much (the recharge rate vs the actual damage just doesn't make them feesable anymore). The best thing you could do is get into a group and go hunting. I maxed out my combat exp twice out there, it does take a while but with a group of 8+ it is extremely doable.
