Thread: Can Commandos solo a Krayt?

I've solo'd Krayts with this template. You keep it rooted, use a snare when the root is about to wear off, and re-apply a root.Use a rocket launcher with disarming shot once rooted again, and use reckless shot with a rifle while the sucker is KD'd. I like to keep them at over 50m distance if possible to avoid a one missed shot= death scenerio. I have also solo'd dark jedi knight npc's with this template, and was close to a win over a DJM NPC, but missed two seperate attempts to re-establish a root, then failed my fiegn attempt. I think overall, the ability to kill a Krayt solo has little to nothing to do with commando honestly enough. You could do the same thing, and probably more efficiently with a smuggler/rifles/pistoleer template, but yes, a build using commandodoes work.
