so here we are, batteling for the control of the mayor planets across the systems..
Myself and two friends drop by Theed as SF and prepare to do some PvP..
I am a Master Commando and Master BH
my friends are 1 Jedi (highlevel) and one Melee career (level 80 using pikes)..
We get attacked by one Jedi.. ok.. fair enough.. 25!! minuttes later.. we are still fighting this guy... not because of his skill in PvP.. no.. because he is healing himself once pr second.. ok.. then one more Jedi shows up and we end up having to get out of there...
We are seeing the same thing on our faction bases... they go in cloacked and mess with the terminals inside.. fun eh? even in PvP they can use their cloaks...
So here I am.. with my proton rifle (not working lol).. what to do.. I chose to return to the game because I love it.. but hey.. geesh with the amount of full template Jedi (thank you for the respec exploit.... /spit) the GCW and PvP action that wassupposed to be fixed is now so unbalanced it is not even fun..

1. If he was healing every second he would have been out of force long before 25 minutes.
2. It does take an element of skill to fight off 3 people. You should have been able to kill him too. Pikeman using intimidate and warcry, you could put on dots, your jedi using armor break or/sap/etc. That you couldn't says to me that it was either skill (which you say he didn't have) or your group's lack of it.
3. Jedi can't hack base terminals.
I actually have a lot more fun in PvP with my commando/smuggler/pistoleer. I can offer a fair bit more support with him. The key is working with your group. Sounds to me like you were in a group, but still just doing your own thing. Learn from your mistake.

He did run out of force, also he used holocrons.. which is besides the point. We all done alot of PvP and we did alot of damage on him... the fact that he could heal all damage he was dealth in one sec made it very very difficult.. I looked in the combat log and it eas over 20 min.. alot of running around yes.. not just standing there hittting each other.. but it displays a mega unbalance in the game.
Also we were just trying to hold Theed in a larger non Jedi group (20 people) and got overrun by a Jedi group
And a cloaked Jedi can stop a base that is about to blow up.. yes? and we cant see the Jedi.. no?

Take heart from publish 19:
Jedi Healing
- Force Sap - Lowered duration and debuff amount
- Force Heal - Increased cooldown and execute timers
- Total Heal - Increased cooldown and execute timers
- Added Mind and Action costs to most Healer abilities

A Jedi using cloak in large scale PvP is either new to cloak or asking to be completely drained of Force for the easy death. Even in small scale PvP, there are alot of NPCs around that drain force also. Cloak is a goof around skill that has some utility uses, but for the most part won't changea whole lot of major battles. At least not any more than the undercover Riflemen.
