Thread: The commando revolution
I am going to try and keep this short.
The combat upgrade did a lot of damage to the commando profession instead of making us a damage based profession we became purely crowed control. We have no other use, this is not what a commando is, a commando is a hard hitting front line soldier. We should not be hard to fix just some simple changes.
The changes that I propose are giving us some specials and removing aoe from most of are weapons.
I propose that we have six specials three damage specials and three aoe specials just like before the cu.
At novice commando we get heavy weapons shot a single target special that does damage on scale with basic sniper shoot or leg shot. This special improves as you advance up commando with advanced heavy weapon shot at master. I also propose that we get a aoe special along those lines that is slightly weaker.
The only weapons that should have an aoe are the rocket launcher and the launcher pistol.
On the issue of novice skill’s I think that instead of brawler we should be required to get one of the other marksman skill’s with ranged support..
These are just a few simple changes that will make are profession more useful and more group friendly
also We as a community need to start making a little more noise as that seems to be the only way to get the dev’s to talk
