I read that Plasma Flamethrowers do not get an extended range, but what about the other heavy weapons? Does the AoE get extended as well?
A guildie struck a chord of doubt in me that said it doesn't work. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I did some testing with a friend. The arms do extend the AoE range of the Acid Stream Launcher.

Any heavy weapon that is listed in the rifle category of the bazzar will be extended by ranged arms. Any weapon listed under Special Heavy Weapon is bugged and won't most of the time.

When the cybernetic ranged arms became an issue talked about on the Corr forums, this was brought up for being "unbalancing" that you could extend the range (and hence do AoE) 80 meters away. Regardless, the whole deal with arms is a bit unbalancing anyways and I have tried to bring it up again after getting annoyed at some covert imperials blowing up all my guild's base turrets with us watching while overt
I think that was the first time I saw a dev response to a commando related item since after Helios post-CU
