Another Master Commando bites the dust. I'm just sick of waiting for everything to change in the combat balance. Perhaps if the developers had at least made the simple fixes, the ones that would have made the existing skill trees work, I would have stuck it out.
So, why is it that the developers can't at least:
1) Fix the HAR so it is an effective weapon
2) Fix grenades so we can throw them far enough to escape the blast radius.
3) Drop HAM cost on grenades a little.
4) Make consumables less expensive to craft or have increased stack size so they might be financially worth the expense.
These extremely simple fixes could have kept me a Master Commando, content to wait out the combat balance. But, since all I could use was the flamethrower I'm dropping all but that. If Commando ever becomes what I had once hoped it would be, then perhaps I'll return to Master status.
I do not understand why our nearly completely nerfed profession continues to be ignored, while the Bounty Hunters are awarded with additional skill points due to their decreased pre-requisites. Sad, very sad. The simple fixes shouldn't be any more difficult than removing bounty hunter pre-requisites.
Well, hopefully we'll all get the fixes we really want someday and have fun using ALL the commando skills, instead of just 1.

Sorry to see you go...And hopefully, someday soon SOE will give you some good reasons to return to the fold.

Or let us colapse in the fold like a giant rift through time swallowing us and spitting us out.

I am sorry to see you drop Master Commando . However, I understand your reasons. I have yet to train 4 skills (2 in Commando and 2 in Smuggler) since they are relatively useless until the two professions are fixed.....if they ever will be.
I am still watching the boards in hope of something that will bring me back to my character in Scylla. I miss the people there.

And how about some weapons with AP? With the type of weapons commandos wield, it would seem to me that armor would be moot. I realize for game play purposes, armor has to do SOMETHING, and I'm fine with that. But if you put someone in head to toe kevlar armor, it'll stop a bullet, but if you launch a rocket, they don't have a rat's @$$ chance of coming out of there alive.
And here's a question: Why are nearly naked cavemen resistant to FLAME throwers? If you're wearing underwear, and I turn a flamethrower on you, you WILL burn
