Thread: Question about Commando weapons
New and enthusiastic up-and-coming Commando here, looking for some insight from the veteran commandos.
About weapons. I just recently bought heavy particle beam for 30k credits, but found out soon after that it's charged. So...171 charges, means I can shoot it 171 times and then it's poof? I was a bit disheartened for that.
Do all commando weapons have charges? Or just all on the heavy weapons line (Particle beam, heavy acid beam, and another more I forget)? What about flamethrower and acid rifle, are they charged only? (**edit** the particle beam is slow, 7.7 speed...)

So I figure I'll ask in advance. I know that some of the weapons have "charges" to them. What I'm curious is what weapons have charges, how many do they typical have? If I'm correct, once the charges are gone, the weapon goes poof and you have to get a new one (pretty dumb IMO, means players would have to get like 3 new weapons a day if they worked). So can anyone fill me in on this? That's all I'm curious about, I've read most of the posts here so I already understand the problems you guys have at the moment =Þ
