Thread: How do you define Commando?

Simple question. Many answers. Now I am curious. How do each of you define commando? Some see it as a fast way to FS grind. Some see it as the greatest thing in the game. Some see it as a simple flamethrower guy.Now tell me, how do you define it?
My definition of commando is this : The most passionate, honorable warriors are the commando. Commando's have stuck around so long out of sheer love to be commando. Commando is the only profession that sucks so much you need to love it to want to do it. Commando is being a heavy attack soldier, to fight for what you think is good, or bad. To be a commando is to be Honorable.

When I was a commando, 2 words summed up the profession for me: Blast Damage. I loved my launcher pistol, rocket launchers, grenades, all of your big support weapons really. Commando was and should be the guy you call when something is too big for a normal profession, or even a whole team to handle, before 90 base comp, 4k hams and speed capped 800 damage weapons, the commando was king. If that base has a turret, bring a couple commando's, that imperial has an atst, bring a couple of commando's, you're gonna try and kill that NS Queen and get the energy lance for the guild pikeman, you guessed it, bring some commando's.

It's the heavy weapon specialist of the game. Ment to bring down the large targets...not neccisarily anti-personel. Or at least, ment to be.
Every Star Wars game where such specialists are instanced, have one that carries the rocket launcher.
We've all picked one up at one point.

I classify commandos as a group of elite grade, hardcore representers dedicated to getting the job done.
No matter if you're imp, reb, or neutral, as long as you're a commando faithful you're part of the crew. We stuck through the good times and the bad, the glory and the defeat, and everything in between, and friends:
As long as I'm playing SW:G I'll be a commando, No matter what!
