Thread: Grinding the 42k combat xp

finally got the commando branch unlocked and I now need the 42k combat xp to get novice
I was wondering if any of you guys had any secret spots to grind this out or have any good places to go with or find a group. I am dreading this grind so any help would be appreciated.
Just grind what ever other combat profession you are going for to get the combat xp. Kill two birds with one stone.

Yeppers and you might as well take missions out of a player city on a planet you like. Make cash in the process. Once you have one elite profession it's a lot easier to get another, or dabble in another. I flew through rifles 4xx4.
I respec'd to get novice commando - cheap but it saved a lot of time- I got myslef a launcher pistol - be sure to grab one of these becuase you will need it to grind the 175,000 XP to get your first heavy weapons cert box - I am going for acid rifle I right now..
Best XP I ever get is when grouped with high lvls. I am only CL 18 so it's tough for me- but when I go with my guildmates to the avatar platform or someplese really high levelI get tons of XP (combat, heavy and pistol depending on the night) with the support of the lvl 80's and jedi fighting with me... even then it's still a slow grind!
