Good news, Im on TC right now and Im actually getting base damage on secondary targets when using my Plasma Flamethrower! Haven't confirmed if its actual damage (that appears over the target's head), as well the same with elemental. More to come.

Bad news, Im on TC right now and the apparent AoE damage is only around 41% (at least for the PFT) of the actual hit, base damage wise. Meanwhile fanshot, for example, does around 36% MORE damage than the original shot in splash damage. Most damaging AoE in the game? I think not - or maybe the AoE's are still broken, and that 1.36x mod is misplaced?

This could be a freak occurance (ive had freak occurances on TC), but I was able to get this to work with a few shots...

Better news:

Doing some more testing...on the LBC I got *FULL AOE DAMAGE* with splash damage. However, I did get 1-2 points higher on one instance, and around 100 points lower on another...so it may flucuate by nature?

More testing will be needing, so Im requesting all commandos who can on TC - Test! Ill have a full report by this weekend if we have indeed just saw a stealth fix!!

Blast it! For 15-20 minutes I had the AoE working...

All bad news again:

Elemental still broken

AoE broke again

AoE specials still do 36% more damage to secondary targets, while it seems our PFT does 40% and the LBC does 100% of the original damage

HAR/RL still no AoE

Proton Rifle still broken

Fanshot for a time when I had HW AoE working, turned into a single-target special for our weapons. If this is intended, it may help. Unfortunately its on a higher cooldown timer and does around the same damage as marksman specials, so it wouldn't help us *that much*...only if we wanted to use HW in a single use enviroment, where a proton rifle (hopefully) or non-HW would be better...

So basically, for a while I got a BIG issue for commando working on my TC toon, then...it broke when I went to tatooine to further test >_<

but my anus is still nervous since it knows how SOE like to pay unwanted visits.

Well the simple solution would be to pick one day a week to spend on the test center. There are some fully templated Commandos on the TC, and under normal circumstances usually a full seclection of Commando Weapons.

Currently I'm making the last of the parts i need for making rocket launchers (stupid protons), but there is no shortage of Flamers, Plasma Flame Throwers, Launcher Pistols, Heavy Acid Rifles and Lightning Beam Cannons.

But if you need a certain wapon that isn't on my vendors in the player city of Skystone then just drop Mich'ael a g-mail, and usually within a day or two I can have what you need, sometimes within a hour depending on what I'm doing at the time.

DOH again no Proton rifle ....
