Hopelessness. It is permeating this forum. I read post after post of, "commando is worthless," "we got nerfed to hell," "the devs hate and ignore us," etc. These posts have been here as long as I have and longer. I've even written alot of them myself. However, since this last patch I've noticed a huge increase in the amount of these types of posts as well as alot more "I'm dropping commando" posts. Why? Did everyone become so wrapped up in their worries of what may become of our profession they fail to see how little has changed since last patch? The only changes pertinent to our profession was the dot change and heat resistance fix and that is far to little to warrent the hopelessness saturating our forum! So what our dot does less damage. Our initial damage got a pretty nice boost. So what if our damage per second is somewhat slower. It was already too slow and we dealt with it. What's different now? So what heat resistance actually means something now. Use a different weapon. Ever other aspect of our profession remains the same! Why be hopeless? Instead, I call my brethren Commandos to hold their heads up high! Be proud of our profession amidst the nerf screams! Be proudwe havethrived.Most of all, be proud we have maintaned our honor through all adversity! Though our functionality is wanting, Live the Commando spirit!

In fact, after a 45 day absence from the Profession, I'm currently working my way back up into it and should be returning soon. I've noted some minor changes, but the changes that I've seen, with the damage and the like, allow us to actually group with other people and hunt without 'stealing' the weapon XP. I could care less about soloing a Krayt or being able to take on a Gorax without any help. The more you rely on your ability to solo, the more lonely you're gonna be and no one is going to want to have anything to do with you.
