I see every profession has viable broken items, complaints, let downs,function diferent fromexpectations, and many wishes and needs. We have ours and rightfully so and so do every other profession out there, even the now so called uber ones but they deserve a chance to get what they need as well as the most broken professions befor getting nerfed. There is no way to balance things out by nerfing anything untill everything is working right, otherwise, like us, those nerfed professions become broken and the fixed professions become uber and it will be an endless cycle of madness with our professions being diferent from one month to the next.

DEVs, please think carefully befor you nerf anyone. I am long known to be a master commando and I know my own profession needs some fixing, however, I say it is more important to not nerf anyone else, not now, for I know if they get nerfed then I get fixed then I will get nerfed again.

I know we must wait our turn for love here and I wait patiently. Now that I have had my gripes and ran out of breath yelling and hollering for a fix I finally realize just to be patient and just have fun. If I die, I die, its a game, I go get cloned and continue on not because I dont care anymore, but because I realize if I get fixed, others dont, and some get nerfed, I will be the main target of cries for nerf.

So DEVs, dont nerf anyone, start fixing I await my turn patiently.

Commandos, hold strong! Our time will come and if everyone is happy maybe we wont get nerfed again so quickly.

I've master somewhere around 15 professions, and all of them needed something fixed. That should the priority, not nerfs and balance. In other words, FIX THEN BALANCE.

I was a master commando for months. Never wanted to leave. After the last whack of the nerf batI went ahead and left commando and mastered my Holo required professions.

After having mastered 10 skill sets my view of the commando has changed. It is potentially the coolest skill set in the game but it is only one of many broken skill trees. NONE except TK come close to living up to the expectations that the average player has.

Pistoleers whine about how broken pistoleer is

Smugglers whine they can't "smuggle"

TK's whine about getting kited and that CoB doesn't work.

Carbineers just whine.

Rangers whine that they are just glorified scouts

Etc., etc., etc.,

The fact is none of the skill trees are "as advertised". There are a ton of pistoleer moves that quite simply do not work. Master Smuggler has nothing in it......at all ( you get a little bonus to slicing %). That big Ranger camp doesnt keep bad critters out etc.

In the end it is all about having fun. If you can have fun in spite of how broken things are in the skill tree you have chosen then life is good for you.

If you can't you really only have4 choices:

Change skill sets and hope you find one you like.

Stay where you are and make the best of it

Sit around and whine

Quit

Either way do what makes you happiest and makes SWG a better place for all of us.

Been saying this for a long time...All those NERF herders out there should spend their time and energy on fixing what's wrong with their profession instead of NERF yelling about what's right with another...If we all got together and supported each profession on their needed upgrades/fixes/changes I think we'd all be a lot happier and could spend more productive time in our own time defining our needs...But instead a 3rd of our time is typically spent defending outselves and re-explaining over and over again that YES we do actually have problems just like any other profession that thinks they are screwed up the worst...

In my posts I've typically mentioned that BH's, Carbineers, Swordsmans and others all have very valid issues....but so do we...and just like them, we will fight to see we get fixes...our concerns are just as valid as theirs and vice versa...

If you really want to see something cool...go into another profession forum...read through their issues...And after getting a grasp on what they feel is wrong with their profession, post a msg of support...tell them that you hope they get all the fixes they need and they have "This Commando's Support"...This positive outreach tends to come right back to us...I've seen it happen frequently between us and Bounty Hunters...
