IM working my way through some of these quests since the revamp and im going to have a crack at the dark jedi quest (from the jedi temple ruins) , was looking through the info see what to expect and it says im to fight an untrained padawan. Really just wanted to ask as a master commando buffed , brandied up and and armoured is this doable solo and if anyone has any tips for me please.

sorry for my lack of knowledge but following on , whats the difference between a sith holocron and a normal blue holocron pls?

well i was master TK when i tried to take him on..and it wasnt pretty.Till i figured out a way to kill him with little to no damage to me.It involves having your bike out,and the ability to healthshot1(for bleeds).Just get a good distance away and use the shot,mount your bike and keep circling him at about 80-90m out.Eventually he will lose interest and return to point he started.Rinse and repeat.

I'm no expert, but I beleive they are all the same.

The Colour, shape and the name. Other than cosmetically, there is absolutely zero difference.

I did this quest with a couple people on saturday, and we got all three of our holos in about an hour. Ran the first two missions he gives you solo (easy) and then went and teamed up on the jedi. The quest is actually quite easy. If anyone's reading this who wants a holo, do the quest before you go buy a holo for a couple hundred K.

Nokkata (Commando 2-0-4-0, TKA 0-0-1-0, and some other stuff)

PNokkata- Evil Wookiee Padawan/ TKM/ Fencer
Chameleo- Master Doctor/ Swordsman
IGR (Imperial Galactic Reserves)- Sin City Too, Dantooine

Well before the last patch I used TKM to powerboost and took him on...he packs a mean punch but with some StimBs to heal, my trusty flamer, a bit of kiting I took him down no problem...in fact I did it a couple of times to get an extra braid for my collection....

Not sure how it goes post patch though...

I'm a Master Rifleman/Novice Commando 3/0/2/0 and i took out the padawan solo. The others are right thou. Bleed him, get on your bike and avoid him till he gives up the chase. In my case I used the small lake of water that was there to put distance between me and the padawan. I don't know how it happened but he actually started swimming to get me on the other side of the lake. I stood at the water's edge and when he came in range i let him have it. Backed off, got on my bike and drove around the other side. He turns around and starts slowly swiming back. In range, i shoot him some more. Really quite simple.

If your going to go solo, you'll want to be buffed and wearing some really high kinetic protection armor. In a small group you'll be ok, by yourself unless you are a defense stacker you'll be in for a tough fight. Oh by the way you have to be an imperial to attack the untrained padawan now

When i first ran it months ago i was able to attack it as a rebel. So now rebels can only run the light jedi and imperials can only run the dark jedi.

Thanks for the feedback , was actually relativeley easy with a probot and a little kiting. Hits like a train but doesnt appear to have a great deal of ham. Accidentally ran too near my swoop and it disabled it with 1 smack lol so was a long walk back but got the holo.

BTW, I have 4 holos I never used. Does anyone know if they will be usefull later?

They'll be useless after the Jedi changes (which I believe are coming in Publish 7).

So, unless you want to keep them for decoration, you'd better either use 'em or sell 'em fast.
