Thread: Just a question about flame cone 1 from a non commando

Hi there,
This is a simple question: Is Flame Cone 1 an AoE attack?
Last night I was in the Corellian Corvette with some guildmates and we were aggroed by the mobs up there. I thikit was for using flame cone 1 but one of the guildmates says no, because he think it is not an area attack.
Can any of you clarify this?.

It's an AOE attack alright, that's the whole point of it. The only difference between FlameSingle and FlameCone is that cone is AOE.

Any more opinions about this?. Does anyone think FlameCone1 is NOT an AoE attack?

Definately an AOE attack. It also has an identical icon to Flamesingle1 (and 2 for that matter) so I can see how it can be selected by mistake.

Yes it is an AOE. However, he might have thought it was not due to a "bug" with it. If a group is not aggroed to you and you use it, then it will usualy only hit the one that you are targeting and not the rest of the group. But if they are agroed to you and you use it, then it will hit all within the cone's range.
