I have cancelled my account but I have till May 1 before i can't log on anymore. I am a master commando with 900k heavy weapons xp, about 300k combat xp. Before my account gets cancelled I was thinking about trying another trying another profession and see if i would want to resubscribe. As it stand i have enough xp to quickly regain my commando skills BUT since launch a commando was what i have always wanted to be, i don't want to drop any of my commando skills, but in order for me to stay interested in the game i would have to drop some of my commando skills (TKM also by the way). I was thinking of dropping to novice commando and spent the rest of my skill points on pistoleer and DF of smuggler. THis would mean i would have to hang up my flamethrower and rocket launchers

But it'll be the same old xp grind over and over again to master another prof.

Let please let me know what you did to renew your interest in SWG. I'm still hanging on the hope that commando will be interesting again.

I did the unthinkable.

I started another commando on another server.....

altho, I did plan ahead, so that commando could join the Stormtrooper PA on Bria....And I havent turned back since....If I as a commando suck, why not do it properly, with crappy armor and good roleplay?...Together with people who think the same way?

Proper RP saved the game for me. (didnt get me away from my commando tho....I just cant get away from commando....3 commando chars and counting...)

What did I do? Went up another proffesion like riflelman - But MC+Mrifleman isnt all that fantastic of a combo. I cant drop MC , ever. My account ends before my master commando title.

My account is already on the end of its ropes

What Did I do? Heh, I dabbled into Architectual Drawing back in November on Valcyn..

Now im pretty rich...my wife and I are living happily with a guild on Valcyn (ugh..we did not have much fun on Chilastra sometimes..alot of nasty people over there plagued us for the time before playing mostly on valcyn)

So...sorta im semi-retired...but not really...I still have a commando heart..i still call myself Stern when im Nitaon Sunrof...hell, I enjoy blowing up Deeds for fun (also mastering Rifleman on there so i wont be stuck in doors all day..plus im a mon cal there rather than a human..so mind stuff would fit nicely..and also to enjoy something different)

My wife and I still play on Chilastra time from time...but are we thru with it? Nope...once we actually get fixed, im putting my business on hold and enjoying my proffession!!! (plus monday we're going to the corvette on chil with some friends to kick off our honeymoon hehe )

And as you all have seen..i aint through with commando...not one bloomy bit...thats why i created another char..so i wouldnt have to have temptation to touch the commando.... (reverse psycology!)...and I still fervently argue for our prof...this is basically the only board i really post on =-)

You Guys are like Family! (in a weird..disturbing way)

Edit: And all this was impressed upon me right after i got MC...after a grueling 12 hour 1,100,000 xp grind of TORTON HELL...(with 2.5 X mod too!!!!)
