Ok i need some info ive been reading and have seemed to get 2 different looks. Im dropping bh for commando because im tired of the at st running around with no resistance time to let the rockets fly. w hat im needing to know is im thinking of going pistoleer but does the launcher pistol use the pistol accuracy and speed mod for its mod. Im assuming since its a launcher PISTOL it should. But ive also read that launcher pistol gives heavy weapon xp so i could never hardly level up my pistoleer with the launcher pistol which is it does anyone know

No one knows for sure. It's all speculation.

I am currently Novice commando/pistoleer. The launcher pistol does give heavy weapon xp, but your pistol skills do work with the launcher, like the skills chest shot and point blank.

was this changed recently? I just got a launcher pistol, it seems pretty weak althought it does a lot of explosions...

Bug it because I get HW xp using a launcher pistol.

It seems you only get HWxp if you use the specials like chest shot, not just attacking. Dont know why.

Im useing my launcher without useing any specials and still get HWXP, maybe you guys or the server your on are bugged? Also I have found a way to help make up for the launcher pistols lack of damage dealing abilitys, Kip Up Shot, the HAM cost is well within acceptible limits and i do anywhere from 300-600 in dmg per shot, hope it helps.

What ended up being my problem was I was using a pre-patch launcher pistol. I got one made recently and everything works fine. I do not have to use specials to get HW, I get it as long as I use the pistol.
