Thread: Launcher pistol no longer gives HW XP?
With the launcher pistol i have I only get pistol XP.
Yes, I am sure its a launcher pistol (not a renamed pistol) it does its best to try and lower my fps when I shoot it!
i think how this works is such that you NEED to use special attacks, i.e. body shot or body shot 2 or any pistol special to get heavy weapons exp, if you use normal shots i think its 50/50 pistol/heavy weapons exp, which is probably bugged.

Don't know why you're still getting Pistol XP.
But, on the note of special attacks, try Kip-Up shot. It's cool. I usually hit for 750, 800 every 2.5 sec or so with a 198 max dmg pistol, and no pistoleer skills. Low action cost, high speed and negligible effect on your weapon's condition makes it the commando spammer's choice.....or mine, at least.
Sunrunner. Once I got a new launcher pistol I started getting HW XP. I get it regardless of whether or not I use specials.
