hello, commando forum.. this'll be my first post, but ive been reading these forums for quite awhile now..

Anyways, here's my problem..

i hit expert bh about a week and a half ago.. yeah i love torso shot, and eye shot's a real fun pvp skill to nuke peoples' foreheads with.. but now it just kinda seems like ive hit the endgame too quickly.. i come to this game fresh from a good 5 or so years worth of playin a pvp necromancer in diablo 2, which still holds the title of my second favorite game.. good old toejam and earl comes first, but that's insanity ill save for another day.. anyways.. if anyone here's played diablo 2, theyll know that the necromancer class is the most pathetically gimped and underpowered character ever.. be that as it may, i loved playin him.. nothin's more fun than killing someone with the most horrid skills in a game...

that's why the commando's caught my attention.. im seein that million or so combat exp and im thinkin mastering that class is gonna last me at least a good 2 months of casual playing, as im moving to college tomorrow and wont have as much time to fiddle around with this game.. i still think sony deserves my 15 bucks a month, so i wanna keep at swg.. the commando class seems like fun to play after those new dmg increases coming off the test server.. usin this handy character thing here...

ive got enough points for master commando, all the way up dirty fighting so i can pvp a little bit using last ditch and low blow, and some medic skills to keep me in the action longer.. am i crazy for tryin this? or do i have a fun looking build that's gonna last me some time?? and is smuggler just gonna be a waste? i certainly wont have the +speed or accuracy of bh, but i wanna do some pvp, and while i wont be as good at it lacking eye shot and torso shot, i think it'll work with a decent launcher pistol or fwg5.. also the med skills.. nobody i know has any, and im not real sure which trees i should climb.. basically i want a char who's decent at pvp, a blast to play pvm, and doesnt have much downtime.. too much to ask? or can it be done??.. any insight you guys could give me i'd greatly appreciate..

Stick with bh in my opinion. Yes commando is getting work. However you have the ability to target specific pools commandos dont.

Smuggler is fun the dirty fighting line is good. However Low Blow is going on the 30 second timer just like all the other KD moves. If you just want something fresh try commando.

Sacrifice Carb, LLC and Investigation into Pistoleer. You can use the Combat exp on one of their trees. Meanwhile, you've got advanced BH skills generating Pistol exp, pumping up your accuracy and speed further than you are now.

Once you've done that, come back and check here agin to see if the profession is decent.
