Im curently mpike, m sword.. BORING! i miss the old commando. i can still respec. So i want to change my melle boring toon in to a more fun Commando. But i cant do it. i dont know what to do. i heard mcommando and m rifle. But.. im not sure if this is right for me. Im all about PvE, and that worked great before cu. But now.. im not sure if the commando is any good in pve. or have some ofu made one? plz tell me. And also leave what weaponds u use. Is the Flammer still usable in bol hunts? Or will i just agro the whole bunch and get killed? Plz help me regain faith in commando and let me start burning again. i realy miss it.

rocket launcher on bol hunts is nice becuase it has a 64m range, and is non aoe.
smuggler probably complements commando best atm.

Ok.. im master commando, master smugler. it is great fun. but i dont deal any damage. and my flammer, proton rifle and the other is AOE. And i do more damage with my pistol.... Isnt that strange?

What are ur tactics then? if there are any Commando smuglers here? im a pre cu charakter who misses those times. But plz help me get going

I was commando /smuggler for a while now as supposedly it would be so great for crowd control.
It may work great for some but it wasn't my cup of tea. The only states I would use a lot were
concussion shot for the root, which is turning into a root/daze that breaks on damage (or did it already)
and the one that lowered defense.
After applying those two I felt like a little girl slapping the target as I couldn't really do any damage
(my perception of it). Yes, they would fall eventually, but I wasn't having fun. The way I fought never
put mein the position where I used last ditch for that possibly great damage if by chance I could make it hit.
I used my token to respec to master commando, master BH and pistoleer 0004. I now also have KD
and snare and some dmg dealing shots like adv critical, there is bleed...and pistoleer 0004 lets me use
stopping shot should I really need to try to root anything. I can even use imp fan shot to do area
damage like a real commando if I want to, using a proton carbine or CD-15 should I choose to.
I'm still waiting for that heavy lightning rifle I ordered, because I just like big weapons with nice effects.
That is also the reason I'm sticking with commando. One day, they will fix our issues too... maybe.
Yeah, I know they just changed the way slicing works and I am sure that is way cool for many people.
It's just not in me to be an extended crafter's utility. It's not why I chose commando in the first place.

hmmm, well I myself am a Master Commando/Master Rifleman/Combat medic 4000, I do pretty damn well during PvP or PvE.
Don't know much about smuggler/Commando, I lack root but I don't mind, Depends on your taste, I like distance and damage, and with Combat medic, I don't need no root to keep my enemy's back.
