I was looking at my template and saw one hole in it. Not so hot reduction of assault armor penalties. I was thinking if I revised to M Smuggler, M Commando and Squad Leader xxx 4 this would do the following; no accuracy penalty, no movement penalty, and 60% offset to rate of fire penalty.
Or maybe Smuggler 4xxx, M commando, BH x3x4, Squad Leader xxx4. That kills all penalties but 10% of rateof fire.

What is your template now? Master Commando has no hinderance wearing assault armor. If you have hinderance and have master commando, it is probably because the armor is sliced over a certain point and then it would incur a penalty.

I was using Kodan's Profcalc and according to it with Master Smuggler Master Commando you have 90% assault armor movement mitigation and 30% assault armor rate of fire mitigation with this template. It does take care of accuracypenalties. I am seeing this as suggesting I would have a 10% movement penalty and a rather large speed penalty in assault armor. A 30% reduction to a rate of fire penalty is not that large. Is it?
I have Master Smuggler and am adding Master Commando. I have had CM 4xxx before and enjoyed that so much I will likely tack that on too. It helped a lot in PvP.
Currently I have Master Smuggler, Master Pistols and Carbs x44x.

At Master Commando/Master Smuggler, you would have no hinderance at all wearing assault armor unless it was sliced and pushed you over your mitigations. I have had a Master Commando/Master Smuggler since 2003 so can tell you that it has changed for the better in complimenting one another.
At any master profession you are 100% unhindered withit's respectivecertified armor, so there is no need to dabble elsewhere as mitigations from professions do not stack either. I.E. My other toon gets no bonus from having a Master Commando/Master BH wearing assault armor because it does no stack at all. Make sense?

To better clarify.... each that you get with a new armor mit. replaces the one before it. They don't add up. No armor hinders you 100% so therefore you wouldn't need 100% mitigation.
