Commando Archive

I desided to play a commando with my new account. From what I have seen, the PVP damage of a flammer is very nice. I have pistol skills also using body shot for the base attack folowed my root, intimidate, etc. But I notice out in the open, I am having a hard time catching people with such a short range.

So, my question to you with Alot more experience then little old me, is what is better at long range? The acid rifle, or the rocket launcher. I like the rockets better because they have a 6 meter blast radius, and AOE helps tons in PVP for me. But after reading all these posts, I was wondering if the area effect really works beforeI spend all that money on buying it..
