I seek one for a tank. Not so I can do missions on lok or anything but I've volunteered as the official meat fetcher for my PA and need a tanking pet to take the hits while I fry and harvest. I don't need any pvp uber pets or anything for lok missions (I actually plan to hunt torturs on talus).

As a none-ch you would be interested in the Mountain Krevol or the Rock Beetle.

You can check the post further down about CH pets, it contains a list of pets for none-ch and upwards to the biggest critters. The complete list is at the end of it on the 2nd page.

Not looking for one to buy, looking for ideas, I'll check up on the 2 you mentioned I know a great BE and more then 1 CH in the PA who can get what I need.
