Commando Archive

I always wanted to be a commando since they can pretty much take out anything in the game. So I am making a career change and giving up most of my scout skills so I can have some commando skills. But first I need some Brawler skills, darn. Anyways, with all the math added up I can have Novice Commando and 2 Full commando trees...I was thinking about getting the flamethrower tree and the heavy weapons tree, that would be novice commando 0440. Is this a good combo for a commando. I want to be able to withstand PvP and PvE, just need a little advice from you guys. Thanks.

In pvp as commando the only tree you really need is the flame tree to 4. unless of course you want the flame cone 2 which i may add is quite nice. I raid AH all the time and to tell you ....flame single 1 sucks. Use flame cone 1 unless you want revenge on a specific trash talker then i would use flame single 2. hehe i like shutting someone up in one hit.

Get you a flamethrower sliced with a speed mod for pvp. it helps alot. If you want a slow flamer then get one with a dmg slice. I have 4 flamers...in case one wears out. 2 of my flamers have dmg slice for exping or just wanting to kill anything quickly.(i.e. rancors) The other 2 that i have are for pvp. They have speed mods. I love my flamer with a 2.3 attack speed. I can hit fast as hell. I dont care about the delay on flame cone. All i need is one spray......7-10 rebels close by.....who cares if they incapp me?? After i clone i just go around and click DB on the ones that became incapped from flame dmg.

So dont worry bout the other trees. If you arent going for master commando..... i wouldnt waster the time on heavy weapons support. They are useless in pvp. Unless you are a rebel then the hpc or the rl is real good.....but you will shoot like 5-7 times before hitting anything. Even at master i cant hit anything with em. The acid rifle i never use in pvp because it has no DoT dmg and the reload time for specials is the same as the flamer.

Grenades?? Totally useless unless you use the C22 grenades. All the others are useless. I have tried everything from cryoban to imperial detonator.... I only use the C22 because it does more dmg. I thought the thermal detonator would be awesome to use but nope.
