Commando Archive

Frankly, I'm sick of the constant grind to Master Bounty Hunter. This game has become more of a chore. Now with the recent BH nerf we do less damage in PVP than a novice brawler. This has me leaning towards what was my original goal since day one...commando. My question to you all is this... is it worth it? I've spent countless hours climbing the BH tree, and I'd hate to drop all those skills just to find that Commandos are just as weak. Are there any trees in Commando like the investigation tree? (IE: Takes a month for each skill box.) I just want to be able to take out those d*mn AT-STs for once. If anyone can offer up some advice I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Actually... I'd have to say it's the easiest combat profession to level up in that I have been in so far. I once did 13k damage with flamecone1. With a pet, I can sit back and deal insane amounts of damage, but it's similar to the LLC. However, we can set people on fire and it's great. The Acid Rifle is not used so much as the Flamethrower, but the Launcher Pistol is a very cool pistol. I have a friend who is a pistoleer/commando and he is dealing out insane damage with it + his specials.

I dropped BH 3444 for commando/TKA/pistoleer, I love it. Its much more fun and its not a grind.

I have to agree, I have only been playing "casually" for 5 weeks, since I work, and am at 1/0/3/0 commando, novice pistoleer, 4/0/4/3 scout, 3/2/3/3 medic...well, you get the picture. I have been having fun! Not a grind at all.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll drop BH today and start working up the unarmed tree *shudders*. The main thing that scares me now is how I'm gonna get credits as a Commando. Guess it's back to regular destroy missions.
