Have not found it anywhere in the Forums so...

Has anyone ever tried the BH/Commando combo? Will there be any benefits to it? Is the Launcher Pistol better than the Scatter? Will BH specials work with the LP? Any other pros or cons (Other than it would take Mega skill points)?

First - you didn't mention what skills did you want from both.
I'm sure you're aware that you can't be a master in both.
Scatter is undoubtly much better than launcher, so as of now, I see no point in doing both professions...

I did some tinkering for you with my Character builder and I came up with this:

Scout: 4/4/4/4

Marksmen: 4/4/4/4

Unarmed: 4/0/0/0

Commando 0/0/4/0

Bounty Hunter: 0/0/4/0

Novice Medic

With this you would take the most popular Skills from both commando and the most popular from bounty hunter (Pistold and Flamethrowers). Also you can heal yourself with novice medic skills. Now with this template you will have 12 skill points remaining to maybe move between Medic and Pistoleer (healthshot2?). I figure that is the extent of the potential since a BH/Commando combo would be created for PvP and not PvE. This combo would indicate a great amount of force brought to bear on an opponent immedately, but not allot of staying power after that (no real creature tank to distract, or excellent medic skills to assure constant 400+ HAM heals). You can assume that since the LP uses Pistol specials, that you would be able to use the BH pistol specials with the LP, I do not see any true advantageto that. I wouldnt personally use it, I prefer PvE to PvP, but it would be interesting to see.

That setup is exactly what I am going for...And yes, its mainly (almost certainly) going to be used for PvP, as PvE gets old to me in a hurry...

I wonder...what would be the best way to set up stats?

Don't want to dissapoint you guys but this template is a piece of **edit** both in pve and pvp. There are basically NO advantages to this. You see - a bh pistol 4 + smuggler df 4 will beat you any time if you use your pistol. And a commando + anything else will beat you any time if you try to use your flamethrower.

It's much better to get smuggler dirty fighting 3 + commando flame 4, because you can kd a target, so it won't run away, flamesingle2 it and run yourself. Just let it burn to death.

I am a BH/Commando and have been one before pre-pre patch. While not always the best in PVP or PVE it is fun for a solo player. I enjoy taking marks and having the ability to do BIG damage with FT and RL. My carbine skills are good for a strong KD and then FT (AIM, SINGLE FLAME) and maybe throw in a bleed. While not a super uber character it gives a large diversity in combat that makes soloing fun.

Mabey a stupid question, but I was wondering. I am a current BH, and medic (gotta keep those guys alive). I was wondering, when it comes to turrets ETC blast vulnurable items. If i Just use a launcher pistol without the skill, willI do more or less damage against those heavy armor targets then a Scatter, Laser Carbine or LLC???
