Hi, for those that don't know me, I'm Dutchoven,a Master Weaponsmith on Intrepid. Formalities aside, I want to make the best flamethrowers I can for my customers and I have a few questions:

1) Does flamethrower speed matter really at all? Reason I ask is I have heard that your specials are on a timer and if thats the case. Are there instances where you need the speed over damage? Please elaborate for me if you can.

2)Wouldit matter if one flamethrower is 1 sec slower than than another flamer if you gain a lot of damage while making the flamethrower 1 sec of attack speed slower?

Thx for whatever help/tips anyone would like to add to the discussion.

Really, as a master commando I got with 2 flamethrowers, in PvP speed is essential, we are never allowed to get close enough for a special, or at least rarely are allowed to do so, which leaves us with a default attack, that's all we get for PvP, so speed matters there.

In PvE, its damage, with the new melee penalty any commando going into special range is a dead commando, but we can still at least try, and damage is what we need.

In any instance Krayt rules the day in a class that frontloads damage. And the most deciding factor on heavy weapons either with charges, or without is the best possible price, because we pay more out than anyone else for our weapons.

You give a master commando a great deal on good quality weapons,...and you just made a customer and a friend that will spend lots of cash at your shop.Hope this helps ya out.
