Thread: Did we just get phantom nerfed?
There are rumors floating around the pistoleer and weaponsmith boards that the crafting process for the launcher pistol was changed, resulting in a substantial nerf to all new launcher pistols. Considering how under powered it was before, this could be really bad.
Can anyone who has any weapon smithing check this out? We really need to confirm that devs did not nerf one of our only two viable weapons without consulting us first...
Regarding the Fwg-5 nerf on TC, TH had this to say in the Pistoleer forums:
"This pistol and three other guns were fixed. The fix was that they could have two power supplies before, depending on the way its crafted. There were different rules that were stacking the modifiers. Those are all the details I have time for atm. I know you need more of an explanation, but I have to stay focused on getting the Player Correspondent program up and running.

A couple of weaponsmiths that have replied are suggesting that the other 3 guns that TH is talking about include the Launcher pistol and the Scatter pistol. However, this is just speculation until TH or another dev confirms this, but from what the weaponsmiths say, these two pistol are in tow for a nerf along with the fwg5. Just thought i'd update for you.
Thats hilarious, nerf the one weapon we use to level up in Heavy Weapons. Not to mention the only other weapon that works besides the flamer.
It looks like I made the right choice to go MTK, I was once 4,4,4,0 Commando a few weeks ago. (could have gone master but what was the point) The devs just seem to confirm my fears, Commando will continue to get nerfed until there are a couple Masters left. Then when these Master wont leave the profession, they'll nerf the flame thrower. This is all because the devs master plan is to not have Commando as a selectable professsion, its easier to delete a profession when there are zero people in it!
