What do you think I used to make "Mandalorian for Dummies"?

I was able to line up quite a few lines, not all mind you...why its unofficial. Also some i reckon are formal/informal usages, like some words can be omitted from spanish when its implied, etc.

First off, a bump b/c these songs rock!

Now, it seems to me that some words translate to an idea and not a literal word in the English language. Case in point is the word "Kandosii". In one line it seems to mean indominable, ruthless in another, and noble in a third. At first this is confusing, but if you think like a Mandalorian it makes sense. To a Mandalorian being indominable, and ruthless in battle are noble things. Thus "Kandosii" carries the idea of something powerful and ruthless. When a Mandalorian hears this word he thinks of all three of these traits (indominable, ruthless, and noble).

It's words like this that make translating a language literally tough. Also, it's tough to get into the state of mind needed. For example, in Spanish one thinks of an object and then properties of that object. So, placing adjectives after the object they describe makes sense, for example "El Balon Rojo" Literally reads "The Ball Red". In English, the opposite is true and the trait is placed first followed by the object it describes so "The Ball Red" makes no sense, but "The Red Ball" does. Mandalorian seems to follow the English trend as evidenced by lines like:

"Kandosii sa ka'rta" meaning one indominable heart. Where "Kandosii" means indominable and "ka'rta" means heart. The word "sa" seems to be a linking word that joins the two together. In other lines it is used as a comparison (as and like in English), but here it seems to connect a trait with an object.

Of course some guy at Lucas Arts probably made all of this up and probably didn't think to be grammatically consistent and perfect. So it's probably best to remember this and also remember that every language has rules and every language breaks them from time to time.
