Thread: Thoughts on a Base Takedown template

Hey guys and gals,
Was just playing around with the idea of a 'base killer' template, and wondered if anyone's tried this template out. The only downside to it that I can see is that your combat level (I think) will not be level 80.
You'll still need to find a Bio-Engineer, because throwing that into the mix takes away so many skill points, that it really hinders this template's ability to stand alone.

I think you need slicing 1 in smuggler. Definitely not a stand alone template (damage special?). AOE KD and AOE Concussion shot make it viable besides just taking down a base. The only thing is, that Bio-Engineer is the hardest one to find for base takedowns.

Ahh, see the most current info that I could find said you only needed Novice Smuggler... needing Slicing I makes more sense ![]()
As far as a damage special, you'll have Improved Critical Shot from Bounty Hunter, which can give you decent damage. Really though, you're right... it's not much of a stand-alone template.
Defenses are pretty nice on that template though (you also get Improved Duelist Stance).
