so what skills do i need as a commando to be able to slice a faction base?

Base slicing is a way to get BH exp, so I would assume that instead of smuggler.....unless I'm thinking of something different.

this may be a little out of place in this forum, but in line with the last post i left in this thread. what part of base slicing does the BH do and get xp for, or is this something totaly different than what I have in mind?

Bh gets invest xp for jamming the uplink terminal....you have to have invest 2 to do it and i think it gave 1k xp back when I did it.
