I am leaving SWG. For good, we shall see. I have become more and more angry at the dev's and SOE since the seeling -short of what we had been promised would come via the CU. Pre-CU we were at least needed for the high-level combat due to our DoT, even if we were somewhat lacking in the PvP department. But we held on. We tested through and through on TC-EP3, hoping for good things to come. Several of our weapons became broken during this session, and we pleaded our case to the devs to get them fixed. We held on. We lost our specials and our consumables (the latter some missed hehe), but we held on. The proton rifle was bugged to high-heaven...but still we held on. Today our profession is determined by our weapons, but these weapons for the most part, are broken. Radii are not working, our AOE only aggros, and our grenades have gotten worse overall. We are now driven from PvE groups instead of being welcomed. We are still excluded due to the high resource demands for some of our weapons. But still we have held on.
I have come to realize that even if I propose numerous changes for the GCW, JtL, and numerous professions, my voice will not be heard. I am holding on.....to a sinking ship. Our hope burned the brightest before the CU, and that is when we began to rise out of the water....but alas, the CU only brought more rain and hardships, turning the stoutest into doubters. My stubborness will not allow for me to face defeat however. My last act will be to not drop commando, a final act of defiance to the devs: YOU HAVE NOT BROKEN MY COMMANDO SPIRIT, YOU HAVE NOT DESTROYED COMMANDOS JUST YET. We will hold on, but for a new dream, and new hope of the future. I am saddened that due to the events that have transpired within the last month ingmae and out of the game, I can no longer play SWG. I dream of the day we commandos can rightfully take our place on the battlefield with our fellow broken comrades: smugglers, squad leaders, carbineers, the list goes on and on. I am sure that Starnick will lead the way to the commando salvation....if not only to point the direction. Fear not my bretheren, for I shall return upon good news, and I will be watching these forums in hope of that news. My final words to you brothers....
GIVE 'EM HELL
