Thread: Question: Nades still give Combat exp?

need to know quick, i might respec to commando again to finish FS grinding. If i were to do this, and use grenades, do they give full combat exp? Im pistoleer now, and i get about 7400 exp per kill and 740 combat, will i get 7400 combat exp or so if i use nades?

Yes they do give more combat xp, however with the long timers, low damage, and HUGE range of the AOE you would be better off not using them. They are guaranteed to get you killed in an area with multiple mobs. Grenades are so broken that real commandos won't touch them except to see if they are still broken, and grinders have long since given up on them. I couldn't tell you if they would give you 7400 combat xp if you used them solely to kill something since I have never been able to kill anything with a grenade except myself since the CU.

Edit: Questions like this will gain you aggro here in the forums as well. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if all the following posts made some comment about your parentage, lineage, or length of your dangly bits. You see, Commandos in general blame the FS grinders for getting the profession as mucked up as it is. I am not inclined to disagree with that assessment either. Good luck mate, you must grind the hard way now.

im thinking of using it with a 8 person level 70+ group. Ill try it out and if it dosnt work, flamethrower for me once again!

Yes they still 'work' just use c-12s on the lair to supplement your combat, just hit it once with one grenade and let a buddy do the rest of the damagae and you get full combat. No need for commando unless you actually want to be one.

Indeed. How about bright pink marquee and flashing text saying "FS QUESTIONS GO TO FS FORUM".......sad how common sense does not prevail sometimes.....

in a weird and twisted way i'm almost surprised that our profession hasn't gotten fixed because of questions like this... since we all know that if the jedi were broke they would be fixed in hours... which leads to the twisted part... the devs fix our profession so that we can be used to create more jedi... in the end screwing over the commando by making us as common as well... jedi
