Thread: Well I was considering a MBH / Master Commando temp...BUT

I was looking to complete my BH temp. and It seems to me that Commando should be stronger than any other Combat Prof. (Damage wise). I was surprised to find out Commandos are not the damage dealers I once thought them to be. Is there any skill tree in Commando that is useful to MBHs ?

Well, being able to AE blind/bleed/KD/stun-dizzy is kinda nice, but you can do that with carbineer too...

And do more damage most oftenly as those come in specials, rather than low CL weapons. And, you spend less skillpoints. And you don't need another ranged profession for damaging specials

I'm rather fond of my MBH/MComm template. Got a tick of Smuggler and some FS dressing and I drop about as easy as a sherman tank. With the exception of Heavy weapons, most of the ranged mods are general makeing the template completely maliable to the situation. I can use any weapon with moderately effective damage and speed and have a rather comfortable array of specials. They say utility? I got utility. Solid.

Yeah, that's why I took the MBH/Commando combo too. Once it's fixed, it'll have insane utility short of a root. I ended up taking rifleman 0200 instead of smuggler or pistoleer though since it gave me a fun stealth option as well, so I can lie in wait and ambush folks (plus, I get a Tier 1 snare for keeping melee at bay).
Which reminds me... "The Void" Conceal Shot is fun. ![]()
Now if only I had a master level rifle/heavy weapon I could use other than my DC-15...
