Novice Smuggler gives a root -- concussion shot.

Pistoleer has a root in -- Stopping Shot

Technically as far as ranged weaponry go... Pistoleer is the only ranged prof with a root. At the moment, Concussion shot from Smuggler is a root when it is not intended to be... it is supposed to be a mez and break on damage. Riflemen have a snare (Kneecap shot), Carbineershave a snare for both single target (Crippling shot) and AoE (Suppresion fire which is broken atm), and a ranged KD (Charge shot), BH's have a ranged KD (Underhand shot), Pistoleers a root (Stopping shot), and Smugglers have a mez/paralysis (Concussion shot), a snare (Restraining shot), and Low blow is no longer a KD.

It has already been stated that Concussion shot is going to be 'fixed' as it has a MUCH faster recharge time than Stopping shot and a 30 sec duration at Master, and was not intended to be a root. Stopping shot is awesome, and a combo of both to use Concussion shot on a group via heavy weaponswhile pinning down the attackable mob with stopping shot (using a single target weapons to not break the mez) will be pretty handy when Concussion shot gets its fix.

stopping shot in pistols...jedi have one too but who wants to swing a glow stick when you can shoot a gun
