Like in the subject, I THINK i found whats wrong with the flamethrower. When useing the FT (Flamethrower) agenest NPC, i saw one thing taht happened over and over again. The NPC's ALWAYS wanted to go Melee on me. Even if they had a ranged weapon they would run up and try and smack me with some weapon. When i would switch to a reanged weapon (ie. Pistol, crabine ect.) they to would switch and start shooting back. So i started to think about the FT as being a Melee weapon. It brought to mind the ideal range of 0 and one other think i can't think of right now. I'll try and post it later if i remember. I had the thought that the game was treating the FT as a Melee weapon, witch might make the damage on the weapon go down 'cus its looking for Melee stats for damage. This is all i can think of for now, mainly 'cus i've been awake too long . If any one else has seen anything that might fall into what i've been saying please post it up, it just might help the commandos get to where they need to be.

There is a flaw in the game where it believes our weapons are melee. You will notice it quite often says you "swing" when you are attacking. Also you will notice this when shooting somebody with a rifle (damage multiplies).. so figure whenever you shoot at an NPC, it assumes you are at melee combat with it, it wants to run up and continue the melee fight *shrugs*... lots of issues here that need to be addressed

Well, given how bad the damage is on them now, perhaps swinging the commando weapons will yield improved attacks.
